What does your Club do for you?
Membership:
SINGLE: $15.00
DUAL: $20.00
OVERSEAS MEMBER $30.00 (AUS)
JUNIOR/PENSIONER $7.50
LISTING IN CLUB BREEDER’S DIRECTORY: $10.00
Membership Renewals are due on 30th June each year. Application for renewal
or new membership is made on the membership form and forwarded
to the Secretary accompanied by the appropriate fee.
Whilst membership will be considered continuous provided it is received by
31st August, our Constitution requires that to stand for office or vote at the Annual General Meeting in August, renewals must be received by the
Secretary prior to the 30th June.
Application for new membership lodged after 31st December attracts only
half the required fee.
Shows/Trials:
Our Club conducts two Championship Shows, one Open Show, one
Obedience Trial and two Herding Trials each year.
See “Upcoming Events” for the next Show/Trial or Social Function
Point Score:
The Club conducts five Point Score Competitions which run from 1st August
to 31st July:
(i) Dog Pointscore
(ii) Bitch Pointscore
(iii) Obedience Pointscore
(iv) Show Beardie of the Year
(v) Agility & Jumping Pointscore
Results need to be submitted to the Pointscore Secretary by 15th August.
Trophies will be presented to the winners at either the October Obedience
Trial or the Spring Fair Speciality Championship Show.
General Rules for All Pointscores
1. The competition is open to all financial members of the Bearded Collie
Club of NSW Inc
2. Points may only be collected for the period of time for which the member
is financial
3. For a dog/bitch to be eligible for entry into the competition, all owners
must be financial members of the Bearded Collie Club of NSW Inc
4. The Pointscores run from August 1 to July 31
5. Members must submit (by post or email) details of their appropriate
wins/success to the Pointscore Secretary, Jessica Buckley, no later
than 15th August
Rules for Dog Pointscore & Bitch Pointscore
1. Points may only be collected for shows in NSW & ACT
2. The Pointscore will have two winners – an exhibited dog and
an exhibited bitch
3. The Pointscore is contained within the breed competition only
4. Members must submit details of their best Challenge/BOB Certificates
(at breed level)
5. A dog/bitch’s 10 highest Challenge/BOB scores will contribute to its score
Rules for “Show Beardie of the Year”
1. Points may be collected for shows in any State of Australia
2. The Pointscore will have one winner
3. Points are collected for wins at Group & In Show level at
Championship Shows
4. Members must submit details of their In Group & In Show awards
ie Group and In Show Level at All Breeds Championship Shows
In Show Level at Full Group/Partial Group Championship Shows
In Show Level at Breed Specialty Championship Shows.
Rules for Obedience and Agility/Jumping Pointscores
1. Points may only be collected for shows in NSW & ACT
2. The Pointscore will have one winner
3. Members must submit all qualifying results in any Class

TitleTrophies:
Title Trophies are available if your dog gains a Conformation or Trial title. Apply, in writing, to the Secretary enclosing a copy of your new registration papers and a current photograph. Trophies are presented at the October Championship Show & Obedience Trial
Breeder’s Directory:
Members may apply to be included in the Breeder’s Directory on this site and on the leaflet, “Living with Beardies”, which the Club posts out when enquiries are made. For an annual fee of $10, due on 30th June, Prefix, breeder’s name, town, telephone number, email address & website address will be included on the Club’s Information Leaflet and on the Website.
Beardie Business:
The Club’s newsletter, Beardie Business is published quarterly in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and is posted to each financial member.
